TEHRAN The second meeting of the department responsible for fighting financial corruption, attended by the heads of the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary branches, was held here Wednesday morning in the office of Judiciary chief.

The meeting reviewed ways of implementing the eight-point directives of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on fighting financial corruptions.

In addition to President Mohammad Khatami, Parliament Speaker Mahdi Karrubi, Judiciary Chief Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi, the meeting was also attended by Information Minister Ali Younesi, Head of the Management and Planning Organization Mohammadreza Aref, Head of the State Investigation Organization Ebrahim Raeisi, Head of the Justice Department in Tehran Province Abbas-Ali Alizadeh, Minister of Commerce Hossein Shariatmadari and an MP, Hossein Mar'ashi also attended the meeting.

However, despite his being involved in financial and economic affairs, Hossein Mar'ashi along with Reza Norouz-Zadeh have been announced as Parliament's representatives.
